Simple and efficient, the Karver KB block is outstanding in numerous operations. Attached by a basic lashing and combined with a simple design the KB block is unequalled in weight (light) to working load (high) ratios.
The standard Karver blocks are assembled with rollers and ball bearings ensuring low friction.
These blocks are ideal for applications where a line under high load must turn on a long radius (sheets, halyards...)

Advantages of attaching the block with a central lashing

• SAFETY -  Lashing through the block centre significantly increases safety in the event of the block failing. The line running through the block remains captive by the lashing.
• LIGHTWEIGHT - These exceptionally light blocks combined with the lashing method of attachment reduces weight by approximately 50% compared to conventional blocks with similar working loads.
• ATTACHMENT - Lashing through the centre of the block offers unlimited applications and mounting possibilities (double lashing, becket...), the block can be tied up easily.
