Features quality stainless steel clips on all corners, stiff battened sides, colour coded ends, white dacron Code marking area, Velcro straps, tough webbing handles on both ends and top as well as & drain mesh bottom.
X-Large : Approx 250 litres - (Up to 200m2 Kite) (100 x 50 x 50 cm)

Very good bag with lot’s of good features and generally good build quality & materials 🙂 Mesh bottom is good to dry the sail in case it has gotten slightly wet due to rain or bit too much ambition with the spinnaker. All clips and end velcros work well and are well placed. Stainless steel clips on both sides with short straps are well placed for mounting the bag to companionway for fast and tidy spinnaker takedowns. Size just about perfect for our 80m2 A4 (heavy asymmetrical, not sure of cloth weight but thick, real bombproof thing). I guess it tells something about the quality that we lost the first one on the last race of the season, and I’m ordering a similar replacement, as I think this is about the best bag readily available 🙂 The only slight improvement that I’d suggest would be to sew the straps for the stainless steels clips on bit more robustly. We lost the previous one when it was still clipped to guardwire just after hoist, we broached with rails (and the bag) under, and after getting the boat back up, only thing we had left was the clips 😀

Ordered an XL bag for a 1200 sq.ft. (111 sq.m.) assymetrical with a sock. A smaller bag might have worked but I wanted to be able to easily reshape the packed bag to fit into a deck locker and it allows this nicely. Having the bag slightly oversized also makes it very easy to pack the spinnaker, bucket and lines into it when dousing. The bag arrived in British Columbia 4 days after ordering – amazing delivery speed as it usually takes at least two days to get anything shipped from Vancouver. The bag arrived in good condition. It is well made – good stitching, no loose threads, robust materials. Clips on both sides of the bag secure the bag to the lifelines and also cinch the bag if clipped together. In use the bag has simplified our spinnaker handling and made a one person task of what was previously a two person task. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and won’t hesitate to recommend the SoloSails bag to others.

One did not even answer, the other left me hanging waiting forever.
Sad that it is necessary to go to UK for buying such a simple item.
I am a solo-sailor and next time I need new sails I will contact solo-sails. Promise!

Now I have received the bag he perfectly meets my expectations, particularly the reinforcement through battens works very well and the finish is neat. I use the bag for a 60m2 furled gennaker. The smallest bag has space enough for the sheets and the endless line to store. Delivery to the Netherlands and the personal approach liked me .Perhaps good idea to reduce transport costs to the Netherlands to make the bag with removable battens and adding them later at his own expense.

They responded immediately and delivered an exceptionally well made custom sized bag within a week at a price very competitive with local shops. I bought the large sized bag for my 80 sq.m. gennaker with douser with large bellmouth. All fits nicely inside the bag without too much packing effort. The bag has several clips which can be used to secure it on deck. I’m very happy with it and can’t wait to launch my gennaker from it

This is a great bag. I bought the small size for a friends Fist Class 8 (50 sq m spinnaker) and it’s the perfect size. It makes life so much easier – it’s easy to pack, easy to clip on and see which way round everything goes. It’s very well made too. This spinnaker bag has to be the best value for money bit of sailing kit I’ve bought for a long time. 5 star rating.
